IPv6 Domain-style Hacking

Everyone knows about domain hacking, but if you don’t read the little quote.Domain Hacking: The act of buying a domain and incorporating the Top-Level-Domain into it’s domain name. Example, del.icio.us, comradesma.ck, et cetera.

Anyway, IPv6 is different from IPv4 in that it’s eight groups of 4 hex numbers. For example: 2001:0db8:0000:0000:0000:0000:1428:57ab,  2001:0db8:85a3:08d3:1319:8a2e:0370:7334,  or 1337:dead:beef:666 (maybe d:e:a:d:b:e:e:f). You’ll see the point of this post from that last example there.

With hex being integrated into the IP, one doesn’t particularly need to registered a domain name from the ICANN, you could just request a particular IPv6 IP from your ISP. I’m not entirely sure if they’d let you buy a particular IP, but they probably would. If y’all have any other interesting ideas, throw me some comments.
